Anyone can be a Vend Reseller. This includes payment professionals (including dealers and sales agents), Independent Sales Organizations, managed service providers, merchant-level salespeople, accountants, existing Vend customers, bookkeepers, web developers, consultants, or straight up Vend fans.
There is a level of commitment in that there is a minimum number of 5 referrals per year. However, the program itself is relatively low-touch as Vend Resellers are not required to provide setup or support services. The Reseller Program is designed for people who wish to spread the word about Vend, earn ongoing commission, and/or provide contacts and clients with useful software and valuable services.
We understand how important great client relations are for you. They’re vital for us, too. That’s why we keep you in the loop from the moment you refer a client, to the moment their setup is completed. We can even help with the Vend side of integrations with integrated payment providers and Xero accounting, so everyone can hit the ground running.
This is up to your client. We only provide account owners with access to their Vend account. Account owners are responsible for setting up additional users.
The Reseller Program has a level of commitment in that there is a minimum number of 5 referrals required per year. However, the program itself is relatively low-touch as Vend Resellers are not required to provide setup or support services. The Reseller Program is designed for people who wish to spread the word about Vend, earn ongoing commission (10% for each customer while they are actively using Vend), and/or provide contacts and clients with useful software and valuable services.
The Vend Advisor Program is low-touch with little time commitment. No setup or support is required of Vend Advisors, and there is no minimum referral requirement. It is designed for people who wish to spread the word about Vend, earn a one-off commission for each Vend referral ($150), and/or provide contacts and clients with useful software and valuable services.
When a payment partner is integrated with Vend, sales totals flow directly from Vend POS to a retailer’s payment terminal. This means no double-entry, human error, or manual end-of-day reconciliation, saving your clients valuable time and money.
Once the integration is set up, Vend will automatically send daily sales, account sales, payment totals, and stock orders from Vend to Xero.
The integration allows retailers and their financial advisors to reconcile payment deposits in retailer’s bank account each day with sales totals and payment totals from Vend. You can also match payments made to suppliers against stock order invoices, and payments from invoiced customers against their account sales.
Sales, posted stock purchases and payments will all be reflected in balance sheets and P&L in Xero.
